Father's Day, 3 months and More...

Well, with the lack of blogging you can tell I am officially back at work.  It has been crazy busy over the last few months but I wouldn't change it for anything.  We are having such a great time watching Caden grow.  He is becoming such a cute little boy! He is doing lots of talking aka "cooing", smiling and laughing!!  So here is what the Butler's have been up to lately...

Brett's First Father's Day!
Caden is one lucky little boy to have Brett as a father.  He is going to be such a great role model and leader for Caden.  He is so patient and hands-on with him.  You can see it on his face how much he loves and cares for our son.  Caden also lights up when Brett is around.  It is so sweet!  Never thought that I could love Brett anymore than I already did but seeing my two boys together, it completely melts my heart.
Special card for a special Daddy...
Giving daddy his presents...

My special present I made daddy at daycare...

Proud that I made daddy happy...
Other gifts mommy and me made for daddy...
I made sure I have gotten use out of all those newborn pictures!
A try at a family picture before church...check out that belly!
After church just hanging out...
We also celebrated with Grandpa...
Caden Turned 3 Months!
I weighed him on the home scale since he didn't have a doctor's appointment this month.  It showed  12 lbs 4 ozs.  I think my little chunky monkey is probably a little more than that!  My camera was not working too well so a lot of these are blurry...

Cade took his 1st road trip...
We rode with my dad, sister and nephew to Kansas for Caden's first road trip.  Overall, he did really well.  We left Friday and he was great all the way there.  Couple pictures in the car...
Braxton wanted to hold his hand...too cute!
Couple pictures Saturday morning at Mimi's and Papa's...

Christie, Mimi and her grand babies...

This picture cracks me up...Caden looks terrified!
A few pictures from Sheena's baby shower...Didn't get any of the mommy-to-be though.

Tested out the Exer-Saucer for the first time...

Not quite sure at first...

but really liked the music and flashing lights...
We took our 2nd road trip...
We had to take an unexpected trip back to Kansas to attend my grandfather's funeral.  We decided to stay and spend the weekend with Mimi and Papa.  We played a little baseball, enjoyed the lake behind their house and Caden even rolled over for the first time!

That gets us caught up through at least part of July!
