Three Years...

Today is our Three Year Anniversary! Wow has time flown by. It seems like just yesterday we were making plans for our big day.  I can't tell you how great these past three years have been.  I have been truly blessed to have such a loving and supportive husband.  Brett, you are my rock and I find myself falling in love with you more and more every day.

We plan on celebrating with dinner Saturday night but here's a look back on that special day...

The Graduate

Last weekend Allie graduated from her 8-week puppy training at Petsmart.  They even had an official ceremony where each puppy was called up to accept their diploma.  They were asked to sit and shake and bring the diploma back to us.  Linda the trainer, got creative and tied a rawhide to the diploma so the puppies would be interested in accepting their diplomas.

Allie's turn ...

Blake Salome Andry

Congrats to the Andry's!! They had a precious baby girl, Blake a couple weeks ago.  We got to visit her after a few days of being home.  She has a full head of hair and is just too sweet.  Best wishes to the happy family!

Allie Girl

Allie is getting bigger and bigger by the day.  Here are a few updated pictures of her lately.

My two loves...

Getting settled for the evening. Thank you so much Christie for my bigger crate to sleep in!

Buffaloes Walking for Babies

A couple weekends ago we particated in the March of Dimes/March for Babies with Brett's company.  It was a five-mile walk near White Rock lake.  Buffaloes are the mascot for the bank so the shirts we wore said Buffaloes Walking for Babies.  Brett was able to raise over $1300 for the event and was the top collector for the company.  It was a nice change of pace to get out and do something for a good cause.

Snow in March??

I can't believe how much snow we have gotten this year.  In March, we got another 10 inches!  Allie seemed to enjoy herself.  Here is a video of her playing.  Is she a dog or a large bunny?

Nice Weather, Time for a Walk

The weather has been nice the last few days so we've been taking Allie for walks around the neighborhood. It allows us to unwind and Allie to get some of her energy out.

Time for a break...

St Paddy's Dog

We headed down to the M Streets (on Greenville) to hang out with the Hyatt's for St Patrick's Day. We thought the car sickness was behind us but we were proved otherwise. She got sick once in the car on the way down. After a quick cleaning, we enjoyed our day watching the crazy's strolling/wobbling along Greenville. Thanks to Benton, Carli and Haven for having us over!

"Allie, you know you're not suppose to go up there."

"Come get me then!"

Visitors

Throughout February and March, Allie has gotten to meet some members of the family. One Sunday afternoon my dad came over for lunch and to meet her. This was her first experience with anyone other than us and the vet. She was a little shy and anxious at first but began to warm up and became more herself.

The last weekend in February, Christie, Braxton and my mom came in to town to celebrate birthdays and to meet Allie. She did so well playing with Braxton. I was a little nervous before hand since she'd not been around any kids yet and I wasn't sure how she'd act.
Braxton also had this long tube thing that he and Allie loved running through.

On Friday night the girls ventured out for a birthday celebration while Brett babysat Braxton. (I have the best husband ever!!!) We went to a Italian restaurant in the Shops of Legacy. We had a great meal and enjoyed a martini or two!
Brett was in Lubbock for class on Sunday so my mom went with me to Allie's first puppy training class at Petsmart. She did so good and really impressed us!! I don't want to brag but I think she might have been one of the better ones in the class.

The first week in March, we got a surprise call from John. He was in town for work and had a night he could get away. He so kindly drove from Grapevine to take us to dinner and meet Allie. It was such a nice surprise and we really enjoyed getting to catch up!

We can't wait for the rest of the family to meet Allie!

February Pics

Brett bought Allie a soccer ball and it became a quick favorite. She loves to pick it up and carry it around the yard (expect for when I tried to get it on camera)! "You expect me to play with this? It's bigger than me!"

It's a rare moment when she sits down for a minute to relax. Those moments don't last long so I have to enjoy them when I get them.
There's always time for a hug!

Snow!!

In February, Allie got to experience her first snow. At first she didn't really know what to think about it...

Then she decided to dive right in...
And finally ready to go back inside...
