Easter

Cade's first Easter was pretty laid back.  Our pediatrician has recommended that we do not take him out to public places until his 8 week shots so no church or outings for us.  Uncle Eric came in town over the weekend though so we at least had great company! Thanks for coming E!

 We took a walk down to the park and enjoyed lunch. 

 On Friday, Caden had his first play date! I didn't take any pictures but we went over to our neighbors house who has a 2 1/2 year old and a 6 month old.  We had a great time and can't wait for many more!  

One Month Already!

I can't not believe my baby is already a month old!  Time is flying by way too fast.  Here a few attempts to document the one month mark.

 We went on Thursday for his one month check-up.  His stats were:

9 lbs 1 oz (34 percentile)

21 1/2 inches (48 percentile)

I have to say a huge thank you to Mimi.  She came in town for a week and half and helped with Cade once Brett was back at work.  It was so nice to have another pair of hands. Thank you so much!! I can only hope to be half the mother that she is!

 Easter came a week early so that Mimi could give Cade his first Easter basket.  It was in the shape of a baseball, too cute!

Grandpa came over and brought us lunch and Cade a little car for Easter.

Life at Home

Life at home has been great!  We are adjusting as a new family and loving every second we can spend with Cade.  We are so thankful for our happy and healthy boy.  Here are some pictures that we have taken over the last couple weeks.  We can't believe our little one is already 3 weeks old.  Time is going to fast!

2 week appointment...
