2 Months

Wow, another month has flown by. I can't believe Caden is two months and I am going to have to go back to work this week.  I have enjoyed every second with him and it is going to be really hard to get back into work mode.  I have only left him once for more than a couple hours and that was with Brett so it is going to be a hard first couple weeks. 

I mean how can you leave this cute little face...

This week we went to the pediatrician for Caden's 2 month check-up. 

Weight - 11 lbs 10 ozs (46th percentile)

Height - 23 1/4 inches (57 percentile)

He is definitely a growing healthy boy!

First, he was given the oral one...not so bad...

He actually did surprisingly well for being poked at.  One outburst scream with a couple tears and then he was okay and ready to go home!

Visit to Daddy's Office

On Monday, Caden and I headed down to Dallas to visit Brett at work.  We enjoyed a nice lunch and had fun showing off Caden to all of his co-workers.

A Wedding

Last weekend my cousin Jonny got married in Denison.  My mom and Terry came into town and stay with us.  Also, Grandma Billinger got to meet Caden for the first time.  We decided not to take Caden to the wedding so daddy stayed home with Caden while Mommy went to the wedding.  Here are some pictures from the weekend!

Nana and Papa Visit / Mother's Day

The first part of May, Nana and Papa came for a visit.  They helped mommy out for a few days and then daddy was able to take a day off and enjoy Friday and the weekend with us.  Thank you so much to Karla and Bob for all their help while they were here! We love you all very much!

 Karla and Bob watched Caden one night so mommy and daddy could go out to celebrate their four year anniversary! I can't tell you how lucky I am to have such a wonderful husband.  I can't believe it has already been four years and I look forward to the many years ahead of us! I love you Brett!

Happy Mother's Day to everyone!

I can't tell you how blessed I feel to be able to celebrate Mother's Day this year with such a sweet baby boy.  My world has forever changed for the better.  Caden has brought so much happiness to my life that I didn't know was possible.  I always knew I would love being a mommy but never could have imagine just how much.  I think God everyday for giving me such a amazing blessing!

Newborn Pics

When Cade was 10 days old we had Kendra Pryor Photography do his newborn pictures. They turned out really cute and Kendra did a wonderful job! I ordered the bear hat and cocoon off Etsy.  They have really cute stuff if you are looking for anything handmade or personalized.

We took photos opening day for Texas Rangers...I totally stole this idea but thought it would be so cute since Brett is such a baseball fan!
